Helen Eames has been a yoga practitioner for over 30 years and is qualified in Zen Thai Flow, Radiant Light, Integral &

Being Yoga & has intensively trained in Iyengar Yoga.

Helen shares in her Mindful YOGA Flow the jewels from each of these modalities

Each Mindful YOGA FLOW class =

 Asana (posture) Flow

Meditation (connecting within)

 Pranayama (concentrated breathing) 

Savasana (surrender into deep relaxation)​

+ Restorative YOGA will be incorporated into Mindful YOGA Flow classes on a regular basis

Mindful YOGA FLOW Class

Is a fluid yoga practice with a strong focus on…

~ The unison of movement with breath - creating more energy flow (life force)

~ Flowing with enough intensity, to keep the mind completely present (meditation in motion)

~ Smooth flow with alignment and safety

 

~ Balancing between self-effort and surrender

 ~ Heart Opening - Joy

Restorative YOGA Class

 ~ A nurturing practice where poses are held longer

~ Props are used as supports allowing the Body & Mind to replenish & deeply surrender

~  The nervous system is nurtured, restoring it to a natural state of balance

Practice Guidelines

Moment to Moment awareness, practice at own pace, if needed using suggested modifications or props
